Multiplier Event Guimarães, PT

This second multiplier event was held on March 23rd 2023, in the Martins Sarmento Secondary School Auditorium, in Guimarães, Portugal.

In a partnership with the Martins Sarmento Teachers Training Center, we held an event to disseminate information on the State of Technology in Education, and of the project Robots for STEM.

The outputs of the project were presented to the audience, namely Stemie the robot, and the student’s and teacher’s book, as well as the scientific book “Robots in Action”.

The book, which will soon be available for free and published online and printed, features 19 articles, with around 30 authors, organized by Rolando Barradas, José Alberto Lencastre, Marco Bento, Salviano Soares and António Valente, has the honor to have a foreword by Professor Mike Sharples of the Open University.

It was an afternoon of sharing and interaction with the presence of teachers and students.

A vert special thanks to the Martins Sarmento Trating Center, in the person of its Director Manuela Nunes and Luís Filipe Barata for their constant support and collaboration, the teachers and students from the different Robotics clubs at associated schools.

The partners Lithuania, England, Croatia, Italy and Turkey, along with some of the article authors, were also present in this event.
